These kids were out walking the dog and asked if I would take their picture. When I told them they could have polaroids they were very excited. Then they posed. It wasn't what I had initially visualized, but I think the toughness that I saw coming out of these three formerly giddy kids was profound. So here it is.

Tough Kids by ~ihmaster I'm a sucker for extreme dof ... on the shallow-side, of course. And, for well-executed potraits with feeling and a glimpse into someone's soul. Or three people's souls ... (Suggested by ~zenobo and Featured by `cweeks)

Hey I really like this picture! Great choice of black and white, and your comment was interesting. You can't tell they were giddy two minutes before.

What did they say when you gave them the polaroids?
